 Smoothing the Way exists to serve the new homeschooler. We will offer you information that will make your first year less confusing. We will also offer you the opportunity to meet other new homeschoolers who are sharing your experiences — both good and bad! You will meet veteran homeschoolers who can reassure you that these experiences are very normal and can help you to navigate through your first year.
Smoothing the Way will benefit you the most if you begin the program in August and attend as many meetings as possible throughout the year. The calendar is designed to address your needs as you encounter them. We do know, however, that people begin homeschooling all through the year. For this reason, you are welcome to join Smoothing the Way at any time! The most important thing is for you to find the support you need to make you a more successful homeschooler. |
