Smoothing the Way founder, Mary James, is available for private phone consultation to address your specific questions and needs.  Mary has been homeschooling since 1989 and has worked in various capacities of leadership within the homeschooling community since 1994.  Smoothing the Way was founded in 1999, with the purpose of meeting the needs of new homeschoolers.  Whether you are new to homeschooling or just facing a difficult time in your homeschooling journey, Mary will be able to offer advice and valuable resources.

Upon contacting Mary James to arrange an appointment time, you will receive a brief questionnaire to enable Mary to make the most of your phone consultation. You may make payment via PayPal or by personal check or money order. Payment and completed questionnaire must be received before appointment time. Cost -- $40 per hour.

She offers learning styles assessment and tips for teaching your children. This is your own personal "Homeschooling 101"! Cost for one child is $99 with discounts for additional children.
