Smoothing the Way online

Isn't there a P.E. Club/Co-op in the Austin area? I remember hearing about it at one time and searched through my old emails but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know of a group that I think meets 1x/week and does various different activities and not just one sport?

I recommend to call your local YMCA and fitness centers. They usually have groups attending classes together at a homeschool rate. If you don't find any that way, you may need to contact local support groups and start your own. I have done this in past years. Often, one of the parents has a degree in the field and will lead your group in PE classes. Sometimes, I was that parent. Until then, jump ropes are great for fitness. Make a plan and document your time if you want to help your child earn the Presidential Physical Fitness Award each year.
