I have been homeschooling my 9 year old son for 2 years now. He is a bright and curious child who was struggling in public school as a result of behavior issues. Once he was home those issues seemed to melt away and he is thriving. I suppose the "problem" is mine and not his. I worry that I may not be doing the right thing, that I'm not covering enough topics (we do math, reading, some grammar, cooking and the occasional science or history lesson) or that I'm not being thorough enough. I am a single mom and often work 12 hour shifts so there are days when we don't do any school work. I just want to feel that I'm doing the right thing for my children, that they will grow up to be confident, successful, kind, well-adjusted and intelligent adults. Has anyone else ever felt that maybe they weren't doing "enough?"
