This particular section is a catch-all section for general discussion. Please feel free to post things that will be an encouragement to others, and please feel free to share your joys, concerns, and problems. In my 14 years of homeschooling, if there is one thing I have discovered, it is that someone else has probably already experiencing everything I'm going through! I hope this forum will be a place to share inspiration and ideas to help us on our homeschooling journey.
By way of introduction, I am one of the original founders of Smoothing the Way. I have 8 children. As of today, their ages are a son that will turn 19 in a couple of weeks, three daughters (12, 10, almost 9), three sons (7, 5, 3), and a baby girl who will be 1 in about 10 days. I am about to begin my 15th year of homeschooling and I am as excited as ever!
P.S. The website and forums are brand new, and you might find me playing around with my avatar, signature, images, etc. until I figure out what I'm doing! (Feel free to do the same!)
