Smoothing the Way online

Smoothing the Way exists to serve the new homeschooler. We offer you information that will make your first year less confusing. We also offer you the opportunity to meet other new homeschoolers who are sharing your experiences — both good and bad! You will meet veteran homeschoolers who can reassure you that these experiences are very normal and can help you to navigate through your first year.

Membership with Smoothing the Way includes the following benefits –

• Recorded webinars covering member workbook outlines, allowing members to work through material at their own pace
• Attendance at local meetings which feature open discussion of the monthly topic
• E-mail list for members hosted by veteran homeschoolers
• Quarterly e-newsletter with articles of interest
• Special webinars featuring guest speakers on a variety of topics
• Teacher ID card

We offer groups in several states and members are encouraged to take advantage of those local meetings.

Registration fee is $75.

Special Membership Discount offer: Our registration fee is only $65 for members of the following groups.

CHOH — Christian Homeschoolers of Hawaii
Send us the name of your qualifying organization along with your Registration Fee of $65.

Smoothing the Way will benefit you the most if you join by August and attend as many meetings as possible throughout the year.  The calendar is designed to address your needs as you encounter them.  We do know, however, that people begin homeschooling all through the year.  For this reason, you are welcome to join Smoothing the Way at any time!  The most important thing is for you to find the support you need to make you a more successful homeschooler.

On the PayPal payment page, please include the following details in the "Membership Info" field.

• Your name (if different than your PayPal account name)
• Your address (if not listed in PayPal)
• Your phone number (required)
• E-mail address to be used for STW Support list
• If you qualify for the $65 special offer, include the name of your qualifying organization.
